It is in this intimate dialogue that I conceived “Boat of Sage”, a work meant to imbue this personal space with deeper philosophical meaning.
Crafted from cold, resilient stainless steel, its metallic sheen reflects both the toughness and iinortality of wisdom, while also evoking the solitude and discipline required on the path of discovery. Shaped like a small boat and mounted on the bathroom wall, it is a vessel moored in the harbor of the soul. Every etched texture tells a story of contemplation, time, and the accumulation of insight.
Sages are often solitary explorers, unsatisfied with superficial appearances and driven by the pursuit of truth. Boat of Sage embodies this spirit, carrying the owner’s yearning for knowledge and encouraging brief voyages beyond the noise of daily life.
